A small cushion with a lot of craftsmanship. First the fabric is dyed and the birdcage pattern is block printed. Then this printed fabric will be sent to the women who make the bird embroidery. Finally the entire fabric is given small kantha stitches.

The Embroidery technique is called Nakshi Kantha. It is an old technique that was originally used to, in a beautiful way, strengthen and repair worn textiles. Made by a Fair Trade Cooperative in Bangladesh. 100% Cotton. Machine wash cold/delicate. Comes with 95/5 feather down stuffer. Poly can be substituted with a 2 week lead time.
